I love time-tested promises.

In 2017, I made a sale of a Porsche 911. The customer, an old gentleman, told me that his wife once saw this car in a film and told him, “I would drive this car if I were 20 years younger.” He took her words to heart and decided to buy her the car. In his eyes, he saw her just as she was 20 years ago.

Some other sales consultants might have just completed the sale and moved on. But when I learned that the old gentleman and his wife never had a wedding ceremony back then, I suggested that he stage a long-awaited wedding proposal when he picks up the new car. In the six months leading up to the big day, my mind was filled with ideas on how we would decorate the car, the music we would choose, the venue design – basically, what I can do to help make it all perfect. I even made a video slide show with the old couple’s photos from 20 years. The car was delivered half a year later as planned, and his wife was overwhelmed with emotion by her husband’s sweet gesture. As for me – it was my most unforgettable moment in my six years at Jebsen.

In my mind, a time-tested, long-lasting commitment is as important in love as it is in one’s work. I joined Jebsen in 2012 and am today a Sales Consultant at Porsche Centre Guangzhou Tianhe. My dedication to work has helped me accumulate six years of solid sales performance, which made me champion of the Jebsen Motors Sales Excellence Award in 2017. My passion for car sales has never diminished over these 6 years. Every order represents a commitment to the client, and I always take my commitments seriously.

I do everything I can to support my clients. For instance, with customers unfamiliar with car purchase procedures, I would create a comprehensive timetable to lay out every step in the process, from confirming an order, settling the payment, delivering the car to securing a license. Car sales is a competitive and challenging industry that really puts your enthusiasm to the test. I treat every customer with sincerity, and I try to stay enthusiastic. I keep my physical and mental states in top form through exercising and reading, ensuring that I am always able to have rich, positive interactions with my customers.

But a salesperson’s achievements are not only driven by his own personal effort. The company’s management approach is also extremely crucial in influencing its sales performance. Jebsen, with its strong focus on people, empowers sales teams with support and resources to do their best work. This environment allows salespeople like me to excel through the company’s existing structure, and I see my Sales Excellence Award as the outcome of our company culture and seamless teamwork with my colleagues. I have currently achieved 715 Porsche orders out of my goal of reaching 1,000 car sales in two years. I am grateful for my company’s support, and will strive to achieve this target.

To me, working at Jebsen is not simply a job, but a career that I always get well-armed for excellence. I truly enjoy the process of carrying out a commitment. This saying has served me well in fulfilling my promises to customers all these years: “I will focus on doing my best. The rest is up to the customer.”
