Job Description

Purpose of the Job:

With dual reporting line to business MD and Group HR Director, this role will act as a strategic HR business partner to our Consumer business line, covering both Hong Kong and Chinese mainland markets to drive HR agenda, deliver value added services as well as plan and implement organisational development initiatives to support business and people growth that are aligned with business objectives. He/She will work closely with business leaders.  

Responsibilities

  • Developing BL Human Capital strategies to support Business Line’s business strategy and ultimately support the overall Jebsen Group strategy
  • Build and maintain influential relationships with business leaders / function heads, demonstrate a strong understanding of key drivers of the business and develop HR solutions to meet the business needs.
  • Provide quality advice and solutions to business leaders in multiple HR areas in a timely manner, including manpower planning, reward strategy, employee relations, performance management, organisation structure, change management, talent development and succession planning etc.
  • Facilitate discussion and support the implementation of change management projects and initiatives that are aligned with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with Group HR COE to formulate, plan and organise learning and development initiatives, talent development, talent acquisition and HR management strategies in accordance with the Group's framework and policies.
  • Manage the end-to-end process of annual exercises, such as annual headcount planning, staff cost budgeting, annual salary review and performance bonus recommendation. 
  • Ensure HR operations compliance and drive process excellence.

Requirements

  • Degree holder in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related disciplines
  • A seasoned human resources practitioner with minimum 15 years’ proven experience in solid HR business partnering with the ability to work with senior stakeholders of diverse cultures
  • Good knowledge of Hong Kong employment law and China labour law
  • Excellent presentation and communication abilities to effectively influence senior stakeholders
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin).
  • Strong collaborator and ability to build relationship with colleagues at different levels
  • Detailed-oriented and data driven
  • Prior exposure in retail or FMCG industry would be an advantage
