What is your top wellness aspiration? We have been listening and we know that for many Jebseners, the answer is – to run! This was our main impetus in launching Jebsen’s latest wellness programme Run for Health, a 10-week after-work running programme to give our colleagues an opportunity to get out of the office and run.
Much more than a casual running club, Run for Health in Hong Kong aims to help colleagues become more confident runners, while amping up their overall fitness levels. Under the guidance of a professional running coach, participants hone and perfect their physical skills through a series of training including stretching, jogging, HIIT (high intensity interval training) and continuous running, stretching their capacity beyond what they ever thought possible.
Since August, Run for Health has already attracted a diverse group of aspiring runners from across the organisation – women and men, from young to old, at all levels, from different business lines. After completing their training in early October, these runners tested their progress in the Hong Kong Guy x Mizuno Run 10km race, a first race experience for many who started out as running novices. At the end of the race, they took home not just a medal but a stronger sense of perseverance and a supportive new group of friends from different offices and business lines. That’s what we call a win, win, win!
